Winter Light: Shooting Snow Scenes and Winter Landscapes

Snow scenes can often offer extreme tonal values - from dark, tree trunks to white, glistening snow. This five hour workshop will provide several approaches to capturing shadow detail and highlight textures in a picture. The day will consist in part of classroom discussion and in part field study. Lunch provided.

Equipment: 1.Camera with exposure compensation capabilities [i.e. over exposure and under exposure are possible]. 2.Tripod 3.Camera guide book 4.Fresh replacement camera battery 5.Suitable winter clothing
